Tuition Discounts
- 10% Discount for new families to our school
- 5% Discount on tuition if you pay in full prior to the first day of school
- Members of Living Word Lutheran Church receive a 25% tuition discount
- Families with multiple children enrolled receive:
- 20% Discount on the 2nd child, 30% on third child, 75% on fourth child
Tuition Aid:
Our goal at Living Word Christian Academy is to make a Christian education affordable to
all families. Tution can either be paid all at once or it can be spread over 10 months of the
school year. We also provide financial aid to families on an individual, as needed basis.
Financial aid is also available through work-service programs in which tution is reduced in
exchange for volunteering regularily to help out with some aspect of the school.

Extended Care Costs
- Up to 1 ½ Hours Per Day - $90/month (Multiple child discounts apply – same as above)
- Up to 3 Hours Per Day - $165/month
- More than 3 Hours Per Day - $195/month
- Irregular Day Plan (not monthly plan) – 1st Child - $6/Hour, 2nd - $5/ hour, 3rd - $4/hour, 4th – free
- Care after 6:00 PM (Emergency Only) - $5.00 per 15 minutes
School Uniform Policy
Children MUST wear only polos and sweatshirts purchased from True Grits Uniform Store. The
pants, shorts, and skirts must be navy blue or khaki. No jeans are allowed. The entire uniform
policy can be found in the Parent-Handbook.
Accreditation
The Wisconsin Evangelical Synod (WELS) maintains schools for the express purpose of
continually training teachers who are called to serve in its Christian schools. Teachers in our
Christian Academy have completed this training, which culminates in a Bachelor of Science in
Education degree. In addition, a formal accreditation process has been completed.

Living Word School History
LWCA has been in operation since 1976, and is operated as a ministry of Living Word
Evangelical Lutheran Church. The WELS has been operating Christian schools for over
130 years.
Extracurricular Activities
Sports offered: Volleyball, basketball, softball, and track. Other Activities: Spelling bees,
science fairs, art fairs, and field trips. Private music lessons are also available.
